He also recently co-starred in David Mandel’s HBO limited series White House Plumbers, in which he portrayed John Dean opposite Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux. The dialogue is rich throughout White House Plumbers, and so are the performances and characters. Harrelson is wonderful — exploding like Ralph Kramden one minute, simmering like Macbeth the next — and the supporting cast is a very deep bench, serving up unexpected treasures every episode. And Lena Headey from Game of Thrones as Hunt's wife, Dorothy! And Gary Cole as FBI executive Mark Felt – who, though he's not identified as such here, in real life was the infamous Deep Throat of All the President's Men. Gordon LiddyJustin takes on the role of former FBI agent G.

HBO is taking on the infamous Watergate scandal in a new limited series coming to the network this spring. Ike Barinholtz has been tapped to play political operative Jeb Magruder in the upcoming series The White House Plumbers. Most fans would recognize Barinholtz in popular comedy movies, including Disaster Movie, Neighbors and Neighbors 2, Suicide Squad, Snatched, Blockers, Late Night, and The Hunt. Barinholtz co-wrote the action movie Central Intelligence and directed, wrote, produced, and starred in The Oath. On TV, Barinholtz has worked on Chicago Party Aunt, The Afterparty, American Auto, and Bless the Harts.

Severance actor Yul Vazquez plays Bernard Barker, a Cuban-born operative who worked for the FBI and CIA before being recruited into the White House Plumbers by Hunt. He was one of the five burglars paid by the CRP to break into the DNC offices—he served one year in prison for the crime. Jeb Magruder worked for Nixon in the White House before becoming director of the Committee to Re-elect the President in 1971, during which time he was involved in the planning and orchestrating of Watergate. Thanks to his cooperation with prosecutors, he served three months in federal prison, and another four at a safe house with Dean and others (they had been getting threats from fellow inmates).

Fran Liddy is the ever supporting wife of Gordon Liddy, in the show played by Judy Greer. Greer is a fan-favorite actress, known for roles in Archer, 13 Going on 30, Arrested Development and the new Halloween movies. More recently she starred in TV shows Reboot, The First Lady and The Thing About Pam. Gleeson currently stars in the limited series Alice & Jack opposite Andrea Riseborough, which he also executive produced, for Channel 4/PBS Masterpiece.

Many of the infamous names behind the Watergate scandal are being portrayed by famous ones as part of the White House Plumbers cast. The new HBO limited series is based on the hard to believe true events that ultimately led to Richard Nixon's resignation, specifically the blundering team of spies and burglars known as the Plumbers. A five-part series that tells the true story of how Nixon's own political saboteurs and Watergate masterminds, E.
The real G. Gordon Liddy and E. Howard Hunt
Shea Whigham previously played this larger-than-life figure in Starz’s Watergate and Martha Mitchell series “Gaslit” with even more feverish intensity, at one point stealing the show from Julia Roberts by battling a rat in prison. But Theroux’s self-amusement with the character is infectious enough; it's in the way his Liddy speaks regally as if he were already the star of a mini-series in his head. Mandel often embraces wide-angle lenses to make his characters appear even larger than life in the frame (also seen this week with a similar effect in David Lowery's "Peter Pan & Wendy"), and it's a particularly fitting way to capture Theroux's irascible work. Right away, you know this new White House Plumbers series is in great hands. Specifically, it's in the hands of writers and creators Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck, both of whom worked on HBO's Veep and The Larry Sanders Show.
In the show he is portrayed by Ike Barinholtz, whose acting credits include The Afterparty and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. Iconic character actress Judy Greer (Reboot, the Halloween franchise) plays Frances, wife of G. The couple were married for more than 50 years and had five children.

But Harrelson's veneers and gurgly voice do a lot of the heavy lifting for an otherwise bland comedic and dramatic performance. Hunt’s character has a tragic element that Harrelson doesn’t get to the bottom of, and it's a missed opportunity. The actors Justin Theroux (left) and Woody Harrelson play G.
View profiles, read reviews, check qualifications, and see prices before hiring. However, if they go out of their way to help or spend more time than expected, a tip is appreciated. Plumbers charge $45 to $150 per hour, with the average job costing $125 to $450 total. Many plumbing companies have a minimum service fee of $50 to $200.
The director of multiple episodes is David Mandel, who directed episodes of Veep and Curb Your Enthusiasm. And the many executive producers include Frank Rich, who's also an executive producer on Succession. So this group knows how to tell a story in unexpected ways, and to find the humor even in the more serious situations. Toby Huss is a longtime character actor who is having a moment right now, as in addition to White House Plumbers he stars in the Paramount Plus original series Fatal Attraction. Some other Huss roles include Dickinson, Copshop and Halt and Catch Fire.
Emergency plumbing contractors charge double or triple time on weekends, after hours, and holidays, or $125 to $170 per hour. Yul Vazquez will be playing Bernard “Macho” Barker, an undercover CIA operative, in The White House Plumber. Vazquez has appeared in Runaway Bride, Bad Boys II, War of the Worlds, American Gangster, The A-Team, Captain Phillips, The Infiltrator, Midnight, Texas, and Russian Doll. He also appeared in the hit Apple TV+ series Severance. Harrelson and Theroux lead the "White House Plumbers" cast — which also includes Lena Headey as Dorothy Hunt, Judy Greer as Fran Liddy, Domhnall Gleeson as John Dean, and Toby Huss as James McCord.
This five-part limited series imagines the behind-the-scenes story of how Nixon’s political saboteurs, E. Gordon Liddy (Justin Theroux), accidentally toppled the presidency they were zealously trying to protect… and their families along with it. Chronicling actions on the ground, this satirical drama begins in 1971 when the White House hires Hunt and Liddy, former CIA and FBI, respectively, to investigate the Pentagon Papers leak. After failing upward, the unlikely pair lands on the Committee to Re-Elect the President, plotting several unbelievable covert ops – including bugging the Democratic National Committee offices at the Watergate complex. Proving that fact is sometimes stranger than fiction, White House Plumbers sheds light on the lesser-known series of events that led to one of the greatest political scandals in American history.
Liddy is a bit of an eccentric, with Politico calling him "Watergate's most colorful character," which is not an empty distinction. Viewers of the show will see early on how Justin Theroux brings those eccentricities to life. E. Howard Hunt was a former CIA agent who was one of the key players in the Watergate scandal. In the series, he is an ardent defender of President Nixon, believing that leaks like the Pentagon Papers are helping to destroy the nation that he worked to defend. However, his spycraft game is exactly as strong as he thinks it is.
Gordon Liddy who was tasked with preventing leaks of classified information to the media. Justin starred in the 2001 movie Mulholland Drive and American Psycho before playing Joe in the series Six Feet Under. He was in the 2006 Miami Vice movie plus the hit film The Girl on The Train. Justin was also in the series Parks and Recreation and last year’s Apple TV+ drama The Mosquito Coast. Possibly foreshadowing his involvement in The Office offshoot, Gleeson has recently worked closely with two of the stars of the original NBC series. He starred opposite Steve Carell in the FX limited series The Patient, earning a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award nomination for his performance.
Most viewers will know Theroux from his roles in Mulholland Drive, Zoolander, The Leftovers and The Mosquito Coast. He is also a writer (Tropic Thunder, Iron Man 2, Rock of Ages) and an Emmy-winning producer for the specials Live in Front of a Studio Audience. Last month, we confirmed Koman’s role should the series move forward would be that of co-creator alongside Daniels.
